Our luxury hotel in Sarlat is located just 2.5 kilometers from the city center. The city is known to hold the highest density of historical monuments classified as La Maison de la Boétie and the old Sainte-Marie church, which was rehabilitated by the architect Jean Nouvel and has become a huge covered market. We also advise you to take a ride in the panoramic elevator of Sarlat to get one of the most beautiful views of the city.

To meet local producers and savor regional products such as foie gras, porcini mushrooms, truffles, walnuts, honey and wine, head to the town's markets. The traditional market is held every Wednesday morning and Saturday all day. The organic market is open all year round, on Thursdays at the end of the afternoon.

The Dordogne has many castles to discover and full of history. We advise you to visit the Château Les Milandes, the famous castle of Joséphine Baker, to continue your journey on the roads of history with the Château de Beynac, a stone sentinel who has watched over the entire Dordogne for more than 9 centuries, and finish with the Château de Castelnaud, a castle built on a rocky outcrop in the 12th century, offering a superb panorama over the Dordogne.

Prehistoric sites The Vézère Valley

The Vézère Valley is a must-see for prehistoric enthusiasts. We advise you to discover Lascaux IV, the complete reproduction of the famous cave. You will be able to discover the cave, the parietal art and ask all your questions.

The village of Les Eyzies is a concentration of caves and prehistoric sites. You can visit the National Museum of Prehistory, the Combarelles cave and the Font-de-Gaume cave, but also the various shelters in the city: Pataud, Cro-Magnon and du Poisson.
